We're introducing Custom Labels in itslearning, a powerful new way to make assignments clearer and more transparent. Site administrators can now create up to five unique labels that teachers can apply to assignments.
These labels help highlight important requirements - for example, whether AI tools may be used, if collaboration is expected, or if the task will later be presented.
By giving students this extra context, Custom Labels make it easier to understand what's expected, reduce confusion, and help students prepare and focus more effectively.
